What is a cannabis pop-up?

A cannabis pop-up is a scheduled in-store event where a brand sends a representative to a dispensary for a few hours. During that window the brand usually runs a discount on its products, hands out swag, and answers questions about strains, effects and dosing. The deal is live only while the rep is on site, which is why the time window matters as much as the store.

How is this different from a dispensary menu site?

Menu sites list standing shelf prices. Cannections lists the temporary, in-store promotions that never reach a menu — brand days, happy hours, sponsored events and launch pricing — published directly by the brand or dispensary running them, so the date, time window and discount are confirmed rather than scraped.

How far ahead is the schedule published?

Most brands confirm activations one to four weeks out, so the schedule usually shows the next several weeks and refreshes as new pop-ups are booked and approved. Events disappear from the list once they have ended.

Do I need an account to see the schedule?

No. The full schedule, every store, and every discount are free to browse without signing up. A free account only adds follows and reminders so you get a notification before a pop-up at a store you like begins.
